ENOAS 2010 is co-organised by Association Bugday (www.bugday.org).


Register from here. (Registration is closed).

Participation fee - 150 Euro (which includes accommodation (in some places sleeping i tents are foreseen, however better accommodation might be possible but need to be paid additionally), food and transport during a meeting). Participants also need to pay travel to and from Instanbul.

Participation fee - 150 Euro - should be paid by bank transfer before the meeting. More information soon.

23rd August MONDAY
• Arrival of the participants
• Integration Meeting
• Country presentation
• Accommodation at the hostel
24th August TUESDAY
• Breakfast – at the hostel
• Visit to Istanbul old town ( St. Sofia Museum, Blue Mosque and Topkapi Palace
• Lunch – Sultanahmet Selim Usta Restaurant
• In the afternoon – visit to Grand Bazaar
• Evening – Departure to Gokceada Island (over night travel by bus)
25th August WEDNESDAY
• Breakfast
• Visit to Elta organic dairy farm - PRODUCTION, PROCESSING, SELLING
• Intorduction to study groups
• Lunch at the farm
• Visit to old Greek Villages in the island
• Dinner at the farm
• Accommodation either at the tents or at the hostel
26th August THURSDAY
• Breakfast
• Lecture – Organic agriculture practices in Turkey
• Study groups
• Lunch
• Going to the Aydincik Beach – swimming and surfing, volleyball match, free diving
• Study groups (free talk)
• Dinner, campfire, accommodation at the beach (at the tents or at the hostel)
27th August FRIDAY
• Breakfast
• Heading to Kucukkuyu
• Visiting Troya on the way to Kucukkuyu
• Arrival to Camtepe Rural Center – Kaz Mountains
• Lunch
• Lecture: Rural Development – AGRI-ENVIRONMENT in Turkey and its linkage to organics. Lecturer: Gunesin Aydemir
• Study groups
• Tracking to the Olive Fields - Break at the Round House
• Dinner at Dedetepe Organic Farm,
• Open air movie – ‘Age of Stupid’ (or another movie)
• Accommodation either at the tents or at the farms/tourist rooms
28th August SATURDAY
• Breakfast
• Orientation tour at Dedetepe Farm
• Lecture: Olive and olive oil production – Corporation and networking among small holder farmers – Guest lecturer
• Lunch
• Study groups
• Bath in the natural hot springs of Cetmibasi village
• Heading to Istanbul at night (over night travel by bus)
29th August SUNDAY
• Breakfast and visit to %100 Organic Market Place in Kartal – Asian Side of Istanbul
• Lecture: Creating Sustainable domestic markets by mobilization of the producer, consumer and the local governments and their tools Lecturer: Victor Ananias – The founder of Bugday Association
• Summary of the study groups (including presentations by participants)
• Optional Tour to Princess Island or visiting Istanbul
• Dinner and farvel party
• Accommodation at the Cordeal Hostel
30th August MONDAY
• Breakfast
• Departure of the participants
